Didn't live up to our expectations
"The staff are very friendly though the service is variable and often slow. The furniture in the rooms needs updating. Inconsistent pricing with the wines. Different price in the bar to the restaurant. 30 dollor difference. They had ran out of a Cantena Alta Malbec and offered as a standard Catena ..."

"Wir haben eine Woche in der Sweet Suite verbracht. Allison ist eine großartige Gastgeberin. Sie kocht hervorragend, hat uns in den Ort mitgenommen und unsere Ausflüge organisiert. Toledo ist noch sehr ursprünglich und wir haben viel gesehen. Das Gelände der Cottages ist schön gestaltet und vom Dschungel ..."

Great host, breakfast, location, property, but missing screens?
"Florette was wonderful and the breakfast that was included was fantastic. Loved my comfortable room that has everything I needed, including hot plate, microwave and fridge. You can walk to the center of town where everything is, along the waterfront in 10 minutes. I took the ferry to Guatemala one ..."

Verified traveler

The food at Copal Tree Lodge was it's weakest point. Nothing to write home about and with the extreme lack of restaurants in town, it really is your only choice. It wasn't bad, but for a beautiful hotel like this with limited choices you want better.
