Worst stay in all my travels. The check-in was chaotic. The listed owner sent her husband, who brought a deflated inflatable bed as a substitute for missing futons. Despite claims the property slept six, there was only one usable bed, forcing kids and an adult to sleep on the floor. When we called for help, the man prioritized going to the gym over assisting us. The original owner was unreachable, and we were chastised for contacting her.
The property was disgusting—dust everywhere, black mold in the bathroom, and more under the kitchen sink. The bathroom was so unsanitary and covered in mold that we avoided using it. The toilet didn’t work, leaving us dependent on nearby restaurants. On top of that, there was no hot water. One friend developed a rash from the dirty couch, and a child caught a cold due to the poor conditions.
The listing falsely claimed it was “two minutes walking from the beach” and had 24-hour check-in. Instead, the location was much farther, and we were blamed for booking "last minute," despite Expedia making the arrangement.
To resolve the issue, we dealt with multiple unhelpful agents before finally reaching two who moved us to a third location. While Expedia ultimately helped, the process was exhausting and unacceptable for such unsafe, unsanitary conditions.
I strongly warn against booking this property. It’s unsafe, misrepresented, and harmful to health. While Expedia resolved the issue, the stress, time, and risks involved were beyond frustrating.
