Unit not handicap accessible
"Unit was ok but not handicapped accessible to go to room and bathroom with wheelchair, door small client blind and amputation leg. We did manage his care while staying there. I wish I could say for vacation but it was for my daughter’s funeral and that was a healing process. Thank you all. Overall ..."

This hotel is very remote with a great beach, hot tub and pool. Do your food shopping before leaving Hilo or Ocean View. We enjoyed it very much, but if you are looking for a lot of shopping or night life, this hotel is not a good match for you.

This property is within walking distance to Punaluu Black Beach. I visited this beach between 6am-7am in the morning and saw sea turtles swimming in the ocean. This is a perfect secluded spot if one wants privacy.
