"We wanted somewhere to spend the day after arriving early on a cruise and flying out only at 2345. Many hotels offered limited and expensive day pass options, or a night booking with check-in around 1400! This was a $40 taxi ride but a nice, simple but comfortable guest house with great views. Nice outside areas. Small pool. Our room was available by 1030, and was roomy and clean. Food was available from a limited menu. Friendly and helpful staff. Only negatives. A/C in the bedroom struggled in the heat of the day. Internet is not reliable away from the main hotel area. Watch out for the biting bugs as the sun goes down. "

"Great views from our balcony and the pool and grounds were beautiful! It was a quick taxi ride (or longer walk) into town, and there is a shopping center conveniently located across the street. We also really enjoyed the live music in the evenings."

"Overall our stay was wonderful, but we got a little lost trying to find the place at night. Even though we were later at night showing up, Jerome was there to greet us and welcome us to his home. Our only complaint was that coming from Colorado, the warm weather and humidity made it a little harder to sleep as there is no air conditioning other than a fan. It is close to the ocean, so when the evening breeze comes it does help. There is a bakery just down the street that is amazing. It is very conveniently located once we figured the area out the next morning. All in all we had a great time."

"The apartment is very functional with excellent layout and furnishings. The view is great. It is walkable to go down to the beach area, restaurants, park and markets. But I recommend taxi on the way back up the hill. There was minor issue with bed linens but easily fixable. We would definitely stay again."

"Very helpful in allowing us early entry after an early morning arrival in Papeete. We were able to wait around the pool area, in the shade, until our room was ready, before the normal,11 am check in time. No problem either with a 5am check out."
