"We spent Thanksgiving here with our son and his wife. It was a cold weekend and this was a lovely, cozy home to gather in. Plus the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking some rather elaborate meals. The knives were dull, but that’s to be expected in a rental. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful family vacation at Hideaway Cabin. The pool was perfect. Very clean. Having a washer and dryer for a family on vacation is always a plus. Pretty secluded and relaxing. They need better property pictures because it is so much better in person! Yard is also spacious but not shown that way in the pictures. "

"My husband and I wanted to have a place to stay where we could fish the river from our rental. This place did not disappoint! As it states in the listing, it is semi-rustic. No fancy amenities, just the very basics. We loved it! Julie was a great host. She is very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to staying here again next Spring or Summer."

"My family of 7 enjoyed the cabin, the pool was fabulous, hot tub perfect for enjoying in evening and fire pit was used for s’mores and hot dogs! The owner was very responsive. I did think the photos made the property look larger than it was. My only suggestion would be a good deep clean and the exterior needs attention, screens were torn and need cleaned, rear porch door needs attention, leak under faucet. Close to everything. "

The cabin only allows 2 cars to park in front, which was originally a concern since we had 3 cars coming. "We enjoyed a nice long weekend stay and were able to bring our boat and our dog. Nice parking with plenty of room for our trailer, our car and a guests car when needed. The public boat launch is only 10 minutes away. The cottage is dated but has a nice updated bathroom downstairs. Only a queen bed in the small downstairs bedroom made it kinda tight. The ceiling fan needed cleaned. Turned it and leading edge dust buildup blew on the bed. The stairs going to the upstairs bedrooms were small and...
