"Kay’s place is awesome! The view cannot be beat, the entire place is meticulously clean, and the couches/beds are very comfortable. We had a relaxing week at Kay’s, and we loved staying within walking distance to town, the beach, and the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Never used the kayaks, but we appreciated having plenty of towels for the beach or bath. "We had 6 glorious weeks in The Kereru’s Nest. Fay and James were wonderful hosts. A real home from home (with a pool, wonderful views, friendly locals, superb beach etc etc). I really miss the Old Packhouse Saturday market in Kerikeri and the splendid workout that the driveway gave us (we made it a daily ritual to walk down and back up again to get in our “steps”). Plenty of walks/tramps in the vicinity too for when we wanted to be more active. Thoroughly recommend. "
