"The place is nice but wrongly advertised. In stayz it said 3 bedroom for 6 adults. But when arrived they weee only 5 bedding. 2 queen and a single. Where is the sixth person going to sleep. He had to check into a motel nearby. When contacted the owner he said, you can see the picture on advertisement, only single. Totally not satisfied with explaining the situation. Then goes quite until I checked out. Please read the before booking and get confirmation. But the place is brand new and very clean...

"A home away from home. Had everything that was required to make our stay welcoming. Good locality even though we spent a lot of time in the Matakana area. Great to look around Leigh as we all had never been there before."

"The property is exactly as shown in photos not a lot of room outside for the dog but it has a small fenced area so ok for little dogs. Very close to other houses but is quiet will need the car to get supplies. Surprised only one tv but loads of games for kids. Nice beds but a little hard. For the price it’s very expensive as just stayed at Waiheke and got a heated swimming pool and spa included for almost the same price Matakana is expensive and no beach views or country outlook. "Absolutely loved this home. Amazing view from inside and out! We enjoyed a beautiful moon rise before retiring to bed, and awoke to an absolutely stunning sunrise! Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a simple meal. Nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Walkable to Manly Beach village for restaurants/shopping. Excellent!"

"Perfectly located property right across the road from the beach with amazing views. Could watch our teenage kids playing volleyball and basketball all from the comfort of the deck. Kitchen was light on cutlery, but still had all the basics needed which was great. Would definitely book again, thanks for having us!"

"Proximity to beach and the village was great"

"This property was an excellent location for events around the North Shore of Auckland in particular. It was very quiet and the courtyard was surprisingly Private. There is plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable. There is also plenty of services close by and great beaches to visit."

"The place was brand new, very clean and tidy but also not very practical, we couldn't use the appliances in particular the oven as it was so new it was still wrapped in plastic wrap and none of the grills had been attached. there was also no basics like salt and pepper etc and the tv was going but nothing was loaded onto it so couldn't use it. so, if you just wanted to a place to sleep it would be great but not ideal to if you're making use of the house. "

"Thank you for our wonderful stay. Was perfect for our swimmers and managers. Easy distance to pool. House was lovely and well equipped. Plenty of space. Great that the king beds can be split up Thank you very much Will definitely use again when we need accommodation again in Auckland Host was lovely and very easy to work with."
