"The house is very cute and you can’t beat the view. Step across the street and you are on the beach. My wife was working and (barring some Latin American mas o Minos the internet worked great. There are animals all around the house including an active and lively raccoon that takes a little work to keep your food safe but, for the most part, they have thought of everything. Take the notice about the noise seriously, though. If you are a light sleeper or reggae music playing all day from the bar next door is going to bother you, you might have issues. It was not an issue for us and Shara was very responsive and helpful with anything that came up. You will love Cocles as we did."

"We had a wonderful time during our stay here - it was a great place for our honeymoon and we would highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a romantic spot with some privacy and also accessible to all that Puerto Viejo has to offer. The complimentary breakfast provided went above and beyond expectations. Extra shout out to all of the employees who were very helpful and provided great service throughout our stay :) "

"Beautiful jungle atmosphere. Wildlife animals observed on the property. Great drinks at the bar. Breakfast buffet and dinner was delicious. Walking distance to the beach and other restaurants. The family cabin had a wonderful patio and hammocks. I would’ve preferred adults only. It was almost impossible to be in the swimming area near the wet bar with so many kids present. Most of the vendors on the beach only accepted colones. I would suggest you get money exchanged from the airport or the national bank in Costa Rica ATM does colones. Tips are accepted for room service and meals. Laundry was outstanding! We received our laundry same day service. "
