Kaibigan Review
Before I booked this particular location for my lodging accommodations, I asked myself what was I really looking for when traveling to Palawan? I wanted an experience free from the norm including WiFi and cell phone service, but more importantly something that was very unique and off the beaten path from your everyday tourist spots. A paradise for which you can relax and truly disconnect. This particular camp is literally ten paces from the shoreline and so serene in its own accord. The local Filipino camp staff, especially Poshi, Elle, and Silke are truly amazing people with the kindest of hearts. I was greeted and shown my open hut, which by the way was exactly what I had hoped for, simply amazing. Meals such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared daily. Just so you know is not anything you will find at the local restaurants or vendors within the main parts of Palawan. These meals are very thought out, prepared from scratch with their heart and soul making every meal simply UNIQUE and DELICIOUS!
The social aspect is also present if you choose or if not that’s perfectly alright as well. However, Either or are both present. Remember this is a paradise for you to relax, relax, and relax!
My most memorable experiences are the exquisite sunsets, peaceful evenings lying in my open hut, writing in my journal and listening to the sounds of the ocean and local wildlife. Meeting the many other amazing travelers from all walks of life is all just priceless!
