"La Bizantana is the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in. It has a balcony with table and chairs overlooking town and water. We lived on the balcony. The room/hotel had beautiful tile work throughout and beautiful fabrics. As an interior designer, it was designed with so much detail. They have a fairly private deck with loungers and a jacuzzi with shade and sun. Breakfast was a huge spread served on a patio overlooking the town and water. Staff is excellent in service. "This hidden gem is literaly 2 blocks away from everything you will ever need. The neighborhood is beating and very safe, day and night. The central station is 2 blocks away through a pedestrian street. The pier is 2 block away, and it will take you anywhere you want. The supermarket is literally one block away. The place is quiet, clean, well decorated, comfortable, private and safe. We stayed for one week and enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended, will definitely stay here...

"Residenza Pansa was in a convenient location, but was hard to find; google maps has a hard time with steps and alley-ways that are prevalent in Amalfi. It would be helpful if walking directions were provided for guests to assist in finding the hotel from the ferry/bus area. The room and staff were great and the small out-door terrace was nice too. The down-side of this property is that it is located right above the main road in town, so it is quite noisy."

"We rented a car to drive from Sorrento to Salerno via the Amalfi Coast. By the time we arrived we were a bit tired. We were using the map app to guide us to the location and made 3 attempts before we found it. It is located on a 3 block pedestrian-only strip filled with shops, restaurants, and access to the train station. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only unfortunate things were we were both suffering from a head cold and I lost the location of where I parked the car. ...
