"The spacious hotel and grounds were stunningly presented with magical Christmas lights among the trees and paths and Vesuvius looming above...a view from our balcony which took our breath away! This was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a little luxury. "We booked a room, showed up before checkin time and they were not operating yet for the season. Mistakes happen, so we weren’t too upset as we found a nearby room at Hotel Portobello . The groundskeeper told us to get a refund thru Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel, the hotel denied our refund. They said we didn’t cancel within the cancelation time frame?? This place is such a scam. I do not recommend unless you want to risk losing your money. "
