"The apartment was very comfortable and was just what we needed for a 3 night stopover. We were able to walk to the plaza de España, for food and drinks. The historical sites around Mérida were absolutely worth a visit or two. The splendid Roman ruins were within easy walking distance of the apartment. All in all an excellent place to stay. "

"Great modern apartment in old town next to Plaza de Espana. Easy walking everywhere. Tourist office is a few doors down. Great tapas bars close by.Only complaint is the shower has mildew and needs better cleaning!"

"Apartment is in a great location, with free easy street parking. You can walk to major sights, and a large grocery store. The apartment itself is a bit worn, some of the furniture has been used up, and not more than the basics in household items. There was a washing machine, and the equipment for washing dishes, but not soap for either. "

"Nuno was great to deal with. Gave us recommendations for dinner that turned out great. The only negatives were a hard bed and not much hot water for showers."

"Nice, clean, one bedroom 2nd floor walk-up apartment, with comfortable guest sofa. Balcony front and back for morning and afternoon sun. TV and wifi. All cooking amenities in kitchenette area, and a large bathroom with modern fittings. 10 minute walk to main square and Friday/Saturday market. Lidl and Intercontinental supermercados at about 1km. "This apartment was perfect for our stay in Mérida. There were only two adults staying, so there was more than enough space. We enjoyed the Picasso themed decor. There is no elevator in the building, but we didn't anticipate any problem carrying our bags up a few flights. (Lucky for us, Santos's assistant met us and helped carry the bags upstairs.) "This is a super hotel close to everything in Badajoz. The staff were outstanding in their customer service and the hotel is superb. The breakfast there is extremely packed with all kinds of foods that you will not leave hungry. They prepare just about every breakfast item you can think of. This hotel should be a five stars rating. I want to thank the hotel staff for a wonderful stay and truly recommend this hotel while in Badajoz. "

"Got a single room at a good price, half what you'd pay in Seville. In a good location opposite the bullring. No noise, despite being on main road. However, the double bed made the room cramped. Bedside table prevented the sock drawer below the wardrobe from opening. Bathroom also cramped. No shelf for toiletries etc. Staff helpful, but told that there was no bus to the bus station and given info on taxi's. Wrong! Bus D stops at rear of hotel and goes right to bus station every half h. Fare 90c."

"Very central and an easy walk into centre. Lovely setting, it's partly built into the city wall. Very clean and nice communal areas. Communication is very difficult as we have limited Spanish and non of the staff spoke English but we battled through. We've stayed her several times on our way back and forwa to Cadiz and we will definitely stay again. There parking available at a rate of 10Eur per day however it's worth the extra as it is secure."
