The property was under construction upon arrival and duration of the stay. WiFi was conveniently “down” for first two days. A/C was out in the room after first day; requested a room change and was accommodated within 1 hour. The property manager assumed to be staying on site and had to be contacted via phone upon arrival at front desk (FYI, no front desk staff so property manager needed to be contacted often for WiFi on the later days and for room change). Housekeeper was kind and friendly – she cleaned the room every day and provided freshly clean towels every visit, even without asking (this is a plus!). Property was quiet throughout the nights, however during the daytime the workers were busy at work (noisy at times) but we were out of the room most of these times. Located behind a bar (Danny Buoy’s) that shares the same parking lot, however noise from the bar wasn’t an issue while staying here. GBS is placed near a grocery store, nearby eateries and a public beach access all within walking distance.
Overall, property and experience was so-so. You definitely feel like you are staying at a hotel and was hard to get comfortable most times. Could have been much better but you get what you pay for at the Grace Bay Suites.
