Nice property manager - awful stay
The property was filthy when we arrived: the owner told us we could check in early but cleaner was still there until well after 3:30. The place was littered with garbage and dust. The dishes were caked with food residue. The code for entry never worked and every time we left the house we had to be let in remotely. There was garbage littered in the halls of the building as well as piles of garbage lining the outside of the building. The stairs were uneven and banisters were missing making it very unsafe to traverse. The box spring in the master bedroom was broken and wires poking out. There was a mouse found in the kitchen. The door to the master bedroom was cracked. We were given no directions on how to check out. The property had stains all over the couches and pillows. The listing stated there was a queen bed and a double bed. Upon arrival we discovered that was a lie. The double bed was a twin bed with dirty sheets on them. The floors were sticky. The water pressure was terrible.

**Our reservation was cancelled the late evening before**
DO NOT RENT FROM/BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE!! I had booked and paid in full at least a month before. Two days before, I messaged the company once each day to receive entry info. They cancelled and refunded at 10:49PM, claiming "property damage." That was the last I heard from them.

Reservation canceled day of
When I received no correspondence from the host, and no reply to my asking if everything was OK, we nervously joked do we have a place to stay. Roughy six hours before arrival received an email, not from our host, but from VRBO that our reservation was refunded. The reason was natural disaster on property. I’m a reasonable person but am quite skeptical this was a true reason. I’ve had nothing but great service until this time. Our only option was a last minute hotel.
