"I really enjoyed Motel One since it is situated across the street from Glasgow Central train station, so made travel very convenient. They have a lovely bar and lobby lounge, but no restaurant. Not really an issue since there are many restaurants, etc., in the area. I came and went as I pleased and the room was clean and surprisingly quiet for a city centre. Staff were very pleasant and efficient at check in. I would definitely stay again!"

"Comfortable, clean rooms for a one night stay. Good size room and decent facilities. The hotel was advertised as having free valet parking, but this was a mistake on the Hotels.com website at it was not included (discounted rate at another car park nearby instead). The travel cot for the baby did not come with a mattress, so was unusable. Free welcome drink promised was not included, but staff were otherwise very helpful."

"I have stayed at this hotel a few times and rooms were great. However this time room I got was not so good. Not all lights worked, it was a very cold night outside but the heating in room was not working great and went off over night so room was uncomfortably cold. Then shower drain was not working right either ad shower door didn’t close properly and when got out shower floor was flooded and water nearly reached carpet in room. Informed staff on checking out."

"Excellent choice overall - central, well equipped studio room. Staff had kindly met my advance request for a quiet room. Friendly check-in experience. Free morning coffee (decent quality). Single downside was a fairly unpleasant smell coming from shower drain in bathroom but with door closed not a huge problem. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Recommend especially if dont want to rely on eating out each night of stay. "
