At the end of a small road, sitting above Hanalei Bay, the house offers the most incredible views of the ocean and the Namolokama waterfalls.
This historic Hawaiian home, inspired by Japanese design, has been entirely restored to enhance its organic feel and yet modern design. Indoors/outdoors blend through massive windows, incredible ceiling heights and stunning views.
The renovation just got completed, everything is new, from high end appliances to the most comfortable beddings...

Truly a special place
The house is a work of mid century modern art, with high end furniture and modern appliances/luxuries. The location is amazing, with easy access to everything north shore and the most incredible view from every room and corner of the property. The truck was a great add-on, giving us easy access to the whole island at our own pace. The toys/gear gave us flexibility to enjoy Kauai's many beaches -- paddleboarding, sand castles, beach chairs, snorkeling, etc. And the host and property manager, Beatrice and Susie, were a pleasure to work with, accommodating and quick communication when needed. Thank you, Beatrice and Susie!

Inspiring
Beatrice has struck the perfect balance of subtle luxury and natural simplicity. Things like linens, tableware, and kitchen utensils tend to be an afterthought in most vacation rentals and it was refreshing to see the uncompromising quality in every furnishing and amenity. The home is a destination in itself and you’ll find yourself perfectly content sitting in the living room flipping through one of the many design books, cooking a great meal, or stargazing in the onsen. I cannot recommend this place enough. The photos don’t do it justice, it was an inspiration. The communication was prompt and helpful, the home was clean, and every need was anticipated and met. When grocery shopping, do make note that there isn’t a microwave, but I suspect that was an intentional choice.
