Hanalei Bay Resort overlooks Hanalei Bay from a tropical, lush 28 acres in Princeville. Beautiful ocean and Bali Hai views are everywhere on this property. Beach access is provided down a long, fair grade, paved path, and the resort staff offer convenient golf cart rides to the beach below. Step out onto the spacious lanai and take in the beautiful mountain and ocean view as you sip your relaxing morning coffee. This unit is conveniently located close to the parking lot, pool and amenities. Amazing sunset views from the fire pit area and an onsite bar/lounge for an evening of local music and food. A great place to enjoy your Hawaiian vacation!

Amazing resort and location
We really loved our stay. The location was amazing, and the resort this unit is part of was the perfect mix of quiet and secluded while still having tons of amenities on site. Communication with the host was great.

Unit was clean and well appointed. Easy access to parking, office, restaurants and large pool. A bit noisy on the lanai as a result of the proximity to the restaurants. Beautiful grounds. Very well maintained. Gorgeous walk to the beach on a paved roadway.

Hanalei Bay Resort Heaven
This condo was perfect for the two of us. The breathtaking views, lovely lanai, and the incredibly comfortable bed were the highlights. The condo had everything we needed. Great property! The two restaurants were delicious and the service was great. We will definitely return in the future!

What a view! Sunrises and sunsets were incredible from the balcony with an unbelievable view. The apartment could use some TLC with a deeper clean and some new paint, but certainly had everything we needed for a few days. We would still absolutely love to stay here again!

Condo needs some TLC.
Location and views were stunning! Would definitely stay at Hanalei Bay Resort again however this specific condo needed some TLC. Condo had all basic necessities but was pretty dirty when we arrived (splatter on a couple walls in bedroom and near garbage), found a whole orange under the bed and shower and bath mats needed some deep cleaning (did not appear to be cleaned at all). Also only two rolls of toilet paper for 8 days, ended up buying our own as room is not serviced by housekeeping. Resort had issues with wifi so no wifi in our room 7 of the 8 days of our stay which made it a little challenging to research and plan our days (unrelated to condo owner but considering you pay a hefty resort fee per day).

Great view and beautiful resort. You can take a shuttle down to the beach which is convenient. Apartment was a little dated and the AC didn't work, other than that we had a great stay.

Great Location
Loved the resort and the North shore. Really a beautiful area of Kauai. The condo was clean & quiet. We mostly just used it as a home base for sleeping, and it was great for that. It was very nice having the a/c and the washer/dryer.

Lovely resort, room as pictured - nice stay!
The Hanalei Bay Resort staff were very welcoming and helpful. The pictures of the room are accurate. 3 Stars for cleanliness, as the room needed a deep clean. The management company was immediately responsive. I'm still waiting (2 weeks after check-out) for my security deposit, which I think is a bit excessive. Hopefully I will be credited soon. All in all, a 4 of a stay - thanks!

Such a beautiful resort and we loved the view from our room. Beach chairs, cooler, and boogie boards are available for use. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit and the bed was comfortable. It's a walk to the nice beach but you can have the golf cart drive you up the hill if you don't want to walk back. The only non ideal thing was being able to hear our neighbors when they were in their kitchen because the sound proofing there at the shared unit door is minimal. We could hear every word. We also would have loved more light at night. There are floor lamps with shades but after dark they don't provide much light. All in all, this was a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location bummer the hot tub was broken- we booked the room based on the idea that there was hot tub. However we made the best of it- great time in the restaurant east to access all our places. Would stay there again!

October Visit
Location is beautiful, great views, wonderful beach just a short walk. Pool and tennis courts In good condition. Property has pool bar shut down, food service opens at 3 and no food allowed at pool. Unit is very dated but view was lovely and we appreciated the in unit washer and dryer since we had been traveling for a week when we arrived. We arrived after posted check-in at 4:30 pm. Unit floor was soaking wet from being just mopped, there was accumulated wet debris and hair in corners by night stand tables. Disappointing but we rolled with it. Overall would recommend the unit for view and location. Only complaint is that the significant damage deposit was collected day of booking 8/13 for 10/23-26 stay and we didn’t receive damage deposit back until 11/9. Had to inquire a couple times before finally getting deposit returned.

This is a lovely property and well appointed. The view was amazing and the location is great. The pool and beach are quite nice. We loved having the patio doors open, and first time visitors should be aware of the roosters crowing starting just before sunrise!!
