The properties are converted and done in a way that is sympathetic to their original use, the floors and walls weren't all even, but it added to the charm for us. "A quirky property full of character that we enjoyed staying at. Excellent communication with hosts Nigel and his wife. Excellent outside areas to sit and catch the sun or shade at any point in the day and the pool was a welcome relief when the temperatures rose. Richelieu is not to be missed nor either is Mont-sur-Guesnes. We certainly enjoyed the tranquility of the area and would return if we were to come to the area again."

"Amazing value for money and location. Really well equipped apartments, spacious balcony and comfy beds. Kitchen didn't have any spare space for storing shopping to make the most of the self catering aspect, but we worked around it. Our apartment overlooked the car park but in fact, it was really quiet, not overlooked by other guests and our balcony had a grear view of the fortress."
