"This is a true gem. It’s a lovely restored building with a garden in a great location. Our ground floor room with updated private bath was so comfortable, quiet and convenient. The continental breakfast was more than expected with lots of fresh fruit available. The only negative was finding it - the street is a bit busy and the driveway hard to see the first time. Once we knew where it was, no problem! We would definitely stay here again."

"The Sorell Barracks' Garden Shed which i stayed in for a night was well equipped, comfortable, secure and warm. The 4 poster double bed was charming. The TV reception was good. The heater worked. The kitchenette was well equipped. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. The front door key was in a key safe on the door, the code to which was txted to me on the day of arrival. "The apartment was small but adequate, very clean and tidy. I missed not having an oven to entertain guests and no extra blankets were available. There was a broken chair that nearly caused a calamity and the lounge room cushions needed some attention. The instructons to get in did not arrive until the morning of our arrival - I would have preferred them at least the day before for reassurance. It was quiet and cosy but we needed to leave the reverse cycle heater on overnight for warmth."

"Fantastic base to explore Richmond and Hobart with great views from the front deck. Compact cottage but manages to feel roomy with three bedrooms and a living area. No dining table inside but we managed at the kitchen bench. Dishwasher and heater could do with an upgrade, but the owners are very responsive to any queries. Richmond is great little town to explore, and we were only 20 minutes or so out from Hobart and MONA."

"We did enjoy the location and kitchen was great. Although We found that especially considering the pandemic at the moment, the cleanliness was terrible. Our ensuite had dirty toothpaste in the tootpaste holder, the shower walls hadnt been wiped down, hair brushes are not necessary in accommodation and really quite gross to see another persons hair in them. Dirty tea towels and kitchen cloth. The dishwasher wasnt unloaded by cleaning staff. We found the senor light in the wardrobe would come on...
