We visited historic Bamberg, played golf on a lovely nine hole course and found some peaceful lakes to picnic and read by. "Large apartment. Kitchen very well laid out with induction cooktop and appliances. No microwave. Large kitchen/eating area and large bedroom with king sized bed and sofa bed. Pedestal fan in room a bonus for those warm summer nights! Building itself is ongoing refurbishment. And there is no lift/elevator. 1 km from main railway station and about 100m from tram/bus-stop. "We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice that the home was traditional with modern updates to the kitchen and bathroom. We were too busy to get to the restaurants in town, but the bakery was delicious and the town was beautiful to walk through. We appreciated the welcome bottle of wine, bread, and hanutas! The 6am clock tower bells caught us off guard, but after a couple days we were able to sleep through them. Overall we're so happy with our stay and would highly recommend to others!"
