Apart from the room mix-up I liked this hotel.
By booking via online I got a good price and the self-service breakfast in the nice dining atmosphere really appealed to me
T.V didnt really work but it didnt bother me a lot (I am sure I would have had assisstance if I were to ask but I didn't like to burden).
My room did contain a bible, inside a cabinet which kept opening (a little paper helped this problem).
Sorry, but I just seem to be pointing out negative things here.
As a hotel, I found it really nice to sleep in and a good place to stay at, with a local bus stop it is really convienient for those who like to fly from prestwick airport via ryanair, for cheap flights.
Another thing I liked was the availability of leisure, there was an excellent bar and a longue that contained a pool table.
I have not been to a lot of hotels, but I must say I found this one my "bang for my buck", it is probably my favourite thus far, with the welcoming friendly staff and I even ordered two ice creams late and got my request! (which surprised me). It also has a 24 hour check-in, and this is indeed helpful.
