"I needed an inexpensive room for a couple of nights while in town on business. This place was exactly that. The good: Heat works well, plenty of parking, front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, bed was comfortable, room was clean, it was quiet, I felt safe at night. The bad: it's an old property and the rooms could use updating, fresh paint, new carpeting, etc. All in all, the Rodeway Inn was exactly what I was looking for and I would stay again. "

"If you look on maps, it says this property is permanently closed. However, this property is the most open and functional property I have seen in the Groton area. The room I stayed in was recently re-done. The bathtub still had a sticker on it. It’s so clean. is a nice little family that owns the property and we love to support local businesses. "We had a great time and will definitely option for a return stay. The house fit our group of 23 comfortably. We enjoyed family dinners on the large picnic table and a nightly bonfire. Our kids ranging in age from 3 to 21 enjoyed boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, biking, and many other things that the house and area had to offer.
