The house was perfect in every way. Convenient walk to downtown. Beautiful home that was stocked with necessities. The charm of the home is like no other. 9 ladies who are high school friends had a fabulous trip.

Perfect Home for Whiskey Off-Road
We reserved this for our Whiskey Off-Road weekend. We found the location to be perfect for walking to/from the venue, and had everything we needed to house our crew whether we were relaxing or continuing to work. We definitely will stay here again.

Great locatiin
This home had everything we needed. We walked downtown for dinner and drinks. There's also a great museum by downtown. We would stay here again. There were 8 of us and it was very comfortable .
We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children (ages 2, 4, 6, and 9) and this house was perfect for our stay. The front and backyards were exactly what we were looking for. The adults could sit on the rockers on the porch while the kids ran around and played. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the house was nice and clean. There were enough rooms for all of us and the beds were comfortable. AC worked great. It’s an historic house so the flooring was a bit slanted and squeaky in places but that just added to the charm of the house. This was a great house close to downtown on a beautiful tree lined street.
The house is an amazing place to stay. Very clean and well appointed. Not just the furnishings, but also kitchen goods and outside seating options. Downtown is within walking distance, which was much appreciated. I would definitely try this place again if we come back. The only negative is the road noise in the front street facing bedrooms, the king and the queen/twin combo rooms. Traffic runs late and starts early of course.
Beautiful historic home, perfectly located near downtown. The furnishing were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed for your stay. The host was very gracious and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this place for a stay upon any visit to Prescott.

Fabulous house with a great location
This house was impeccably cared for and beautifully restored. As a setting for a family reunion we couldn’t have asked for more. The owners treated us as guests in their home.

Fabulous!
We were in Prescott for several days for my daughter’s wedding and had an amazing stay. The owners who are in the neighborhood were so kind sweet and very helpful. Nicest couple you could meet. The home was lovely, everything was perfect!
We always enjoy our time in Prescott and find it very difficult to make them better. Our stay at this property made the difficult possible and made a good trip better. Proximity to everything we love, old home charm without sacrificing comfort, city location without feeling confined, and simplicity in all aspects of the rental process delivered an exceptional experience. We will be back.

Wonderful home
We had a perfect weekend! There was plenty of space for 8 ladies. There were so many little touches that made the house feel welcoming. Very clean, comfortable, with everything we needed. Loved the 2 refrigerators. Our host was available for any questions we had. Will definitely return.
The house was absolutely perfect for our multigenerational family. Each bedroom appeared to match the members of our family. The home is very comfortable and has so much character. Dinning room was big enough for 10! Very clean, soft sheets and towels. Every detail well thought about and provided. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return on family trips to visit our daughter at Embry-Riddle College.
Wow wow wow is all I can say about this incredible house! It perfectly embodies Prescott! Charming historical house on Mount Vernon Avenue!! The host is amazing, so accommodating. They left us snacks, wine and donuts for my hubbies birthday!! Check in process easy breezy! The house is perfect the decor was so cool staying true to the houses era! FULLY STOCKED with everything! Super comfy for the 8 of us! We WILL RENT THIS ONE AGAIN!!! What a great trip!! Thank you Evolve you guys ROCK
Visiting Prescott to celebrate my birthday with girlfriends & family. We were greeted by a lovely note from the owner, a box of fresh doughnuts, wine & snacks. The house was exactly as pictured. With comfortable beds for everyone & little touches of extra needs throughout the house. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. No need to bring anything with you but your food. The porch and back patio are perfect for gathering. I simply can’t say enough to express how please an entire group of grown women were with the accommodations. Everything was top notch! And the owners are wonderful people. Can’t wait for our next visit.
We walked over to greet the family upon arrival with our dog on a leash and the owner went ballistic that we had a dog in the yard and that was not allowed. We had no intention of leaving the dogs or even going into the house. The family was afraid to do anything becaus they felt like they were being "stalked"
We stayed here for Thanksgiving and it worked out perfectly for 2 families. We felt welcome from the start. Theresa and Logan are wonderful hosts and had doughnuts and plenty of complimentary items waiting for our arrival! They even had 2 bottles of wine and extra snacks for the whole group. They were friendly and very responsive if he had questions.
The Fall colors were in full bloom and the historic neighborhood street was perfect for walks. We had a huge table to gather around for our Thanksgiving meal. There was plenty of room and storage for food with 2 refrigerators, one was back in the butler's pantry area and we were pleasantly surprised. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of essentials in the kitchen, the oven was huge and handled the Thanksgiving turkey and all with ease. All nice and new appliances, laundry room had nice large appliances. The mud room was perfect for extra space. There were extra blankets in each room and plenty of toiletries in each bathroom.
Our dad recently passed away from cancer. We gathered here to celebrate his life and it couldn't have worked out better. We hiked Thumb Butte as it was a place he loved to run the trails with us throughout the years. The house made us feel like we were traveling back in time with the decor and architecture. It was fun to see the other Victorian style homes around the neighborhood. The kids could skateboard around the street, hit the Bosa Doughnuts place one block away for Boba drinks. We all walked to the courthouse one evening. Bill's Pizza has great pizza there! There is a skate park a few blocks away near the Armoury.
We made wonderful memories in Prescott and having grown up there it holds a special place in our hearts there.
We would recommend the Shady Victorian for anyone wanting to be at a close location to the Courthouse and be at the heart of Prescott.
We love this location. 3rd stay
Owners are lovely folks and this house is so precious. I’m sure we will be out again soon.
Great location to visit Prescott
This was a great place to stay-- the antiques all over the home and the historicity were amazing!! It is in great walking distance, too, with downtown Prescott. We had a lovely time and the goodies left by the owners were just lovely. :)
