"The apartment was exactly as pictured with a gorgeous view of the lake! The area is private and quiet. Laura was so kind to us! She picked us up at the train station and took me grocery shopping. We did not rent a car and the apartment is about a mile from town. I would say you might want one if you want to be out late. The trail to town is rustic and not something you could do in the dark. "The apartment is located at the perfect spot of Stresa, close to bus stop, ferry terminal, shopping and restaurants. Very spacious rooms with two bedrooms and two baths. However, there is very limited pots and pans in the kitchen. Unfortunately, there was construction underway on the upper floor during the period of our staying so lots noise when the demolition work started. Overall we enjoyed our time in Stresa."

The apartment is in a perfect location, by the boats, centre of Stresa; lots of cafes, restaurants and a grocery store. "The photos on the website were absolutely spot on! The apartment was light and bright. Self check in was easy and exactly as described. The situation above Lago Maggiore was breathtaking and even in the rain the view was ever changing. Out of season the local restaurants were not open but a new supermarket in Stresa with a carpark was good for shopping and the apartment was well equipped for cooking.
