"This was a great, clean place to stay in the Gothic Quarter with friendly staff and a good breakfast buffet. I would highly recommend for solo travelers, couples, and families. Overall, my room was spacious and clean, although some lights flickered and I couldn’t really control the thermostat. I still still had a good stay. "

"Hotel is near everything. Initially was assigned a room that smelted like sewage we let the receptionist know was assigned a better room the next day. Will definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed in Hotel del Mar for New Years and chose a room with terrace. The room is simple, clean and has all basic necessities, bed was comfortable. Staff is very helpful with anything you need (ice bucket for Cava, glasses, call a taxi, etc). The bathroom was large, nice shower with hot water, and several toiletry kits are provided. Our room had a small fridge that we loved to use for orange juice, cheese and wine, it chilled very fast. The terrace has one lounger and a table with two chairs....

"I love this place. Friendly and helpfull people at the desk. I really appreciatte that they change my room for a bigger one for one night without charge given my early arrival ! The room, commodities and bathroom were excellent. "

"I highly recommend the property. Everything is walking distance. Staff are excellent! They all need to be recognized. Property is very clean and surroundings are safe. The Metro is just right around the corner. Thank you everyone! We will be back!"

"Spent 6 nights and it was great. The location is convenient. 5-6 mins walk from two subways, a big market just around the corner, La Rambla is just 5-6 mins away. It gets a bit sketchy at night with homeless people in front of the building but there’s a police station 2 mins from the hotel. Inside the hotel feels safe with the key operated main door. The room was ok with all essential amenities. The rooftop will be very nice to hang out when the weather is warm. GREAT 360’ view of the city including Sagrada Familia and other main attractions. All staffs were very friendly and professional. Even offered to store my luggages for few days while I would come back to the hotel in the future."
