Welcome to the Emigrant Gulch Cabin and a great location in Paradise Valley - near Chico Hot Springs Resort and only 30 minutes from Yellowstone National Park. Step out the door and hear, smell and see Emigrant Creek, a year-round, spring-fed, trout filled stream. Enjoy!!

We have two cabins available for rent on 82 private acres, bordered by National Forest and has one mile of Emigrant Creek flowing through it. Take advantage of our intimate knowledge of the area, as our family has been here since 1873.

In every direction outdoor activities abound. Every season offers standard as well as unique activities that accommodate anyone's desire. Or, if you are interested in a relaxing stay in the mountains, Emigrant Creek is the perfect place for you.

Amazing place to stay!
Our stay felt like home! It was clean, well stocked with cooking tools, had beautiful scenery all around and on the ride to Yellowstone, access to the creek and a small hike to waterfall, picnic area with grill to side of cabin was beautiful, the porch had chairs, and it was an excellent value! We highly recommend staying here. There were so many things to see and do outside of Yellowstone in this area that we wished we could’ve explored, so we are planning to reserve this stay again!

Beautiful house in a gorgeous canyon!
The house was perfect! Clean, cozy, and well equipped. The snow was deep, but the sidewalk had been shoveled, and the house was warm and ready for us. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful place!
We took our oldest grandson to Yellowstone 8 years ago and stayed here. We loved it so much that when it came time to take our youngest grandson to Yellowstone, we knew exactly where we wanted to stay. Spent 8 nights in this wonderful cabin and hated to leave. Wish we would have got to meet Brian, but we loved the place anyway.

Cozy Home Away from Home
This was a very nice little cabin. It was very well kept and had everything you could possibly need. The pictures are outdated and the outside looked a little neglected. Overall it was a great place to come home to every evening. We would definitely consider it again in the future.

The outside of the cabin looks great mountain atmosphere, the inside was even better, the living room floor was outstanding, we have never seen anything like it. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds are very comfortable. There were four adults and we always had hot water. Bryan is a great host. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Great place to get away
This property is secluded enough to get away time, but still within 5 miles of the Emigrant general store. There are trout on Emigrant Creek which is right across the road. It's challenging to fish but worth it. The only thing I would warn against is if you want a view from your cabin, this isn't one to get it.

Mountain Paradise
This cabin is exactly what you're looking for of you want a quiet place off the beaten path. The cabin itself is well maintained and clean. It's got everything you need. It's nicely nestled halfway between Livingston and Gardiner (north entrance to YSP). Bryan greated us shortly after we arrived and was available to answer questions. There is deep history in this little gulch which makes it even more interesting.

Amazing vacation cabin !!
Pictures don’t do this home justice ! It is absolutely gorgeous!! We spent a week and it went by way too fast !! We especially loved being able to sleep with the windows open at night and listen to the creek across the road! We took the two mile hike to the falls up the road and the views were spectacular! We spent a day in Bozeman and 3 days at Yellowstone and this cabin is perfectly situated to both ! We spent one day just sitting on the porch swing . The Emigrant market is conveniently three miles away so we bought groceries for the whole week and made breakfast and supper each day. The home is immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable! Would highly recommend this gem and we can’t wait to go back !

We booked this cabin looking forward to the proximity to the stream and the open spaces around the property for seeing wildlife. The place is so overgrown we couldn't see 15 feet in front of the cabin nor walk through the growth to the stream, much less hike up to the cascades the owner's notes told us not to miss.The only wildlife we saw was a little mouse who lived just beyond the front porch. Very disappointing.

Okay, BUT
We decided to stay at this property because the pictures and the description made it look like it was in an isolated area. Not true. It is surrounded by other cabins and homes. We couldn't figure out where the 83 acres was. Creek is not visible from cabin. Yard was not cared for. Lawn not even mowed. The area was very overgrown. Pictures had obviously been taken years before. The cabin was nice but the heater in the living area wasn't working properly.

Beautiful location but not as advertised
The location is beautiful - surrounded by the mountains with a creek on the property! Unfortunately, the beds were unusable. I'm not sure if this is a new issue or not, but we were unable to sleep the first night because the beds were so bad. We ended up having to leave and stay in a hotel so we could sleep! Also it is listed as having wifi, but there was no wifi available even after speaking to the owner. Usually this would not be a problem as we didn't come to the cabin to sit on our phones, but if you are like us and left kids at home with a sitter, it may be an issue to not be able to reach them. The location is pretty but this cabin was a miss for us.

This house worked perfectly for our family to have a home base to get to Yellowstone daily. The Chico hot springs down the road was an amazing plus. The hue to the waterfall from the front door was excellent. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly in responses

Nice cabin, but surrounded by brush, close neighbors.
Emigrant Creek is across the road, but not accessible. Brush surrounds house. May be on 83 acres, but note in house says only walk on the road as both sides of the road is private property.
