"We had a great stay in Canelli! Jan's place is an absolute gem, nestled in the hills above Canelli, surrounded by vines with stunning views, a pool, ping pong table, barbecue, etc. The house itself is spacious, well-furnished, and features a modern kitchen with everything you need to cook delicious meals. "We travelled to Piemonte for wine tasting, and this house is almost ideally situated in the middle of the Asti-Alba-Barolo-Barbera-Barbaresco area. It is in a rural area, and the local farmer does drive his tractor and truck by the house occasionally (several times a day). Otherwise, noise is almost nonexistent. The house (actually Villa Tellais well appointed and well furnished. It is one of 2 in a duplex arrangement at the top of a small hill. All 3 bedrooms are large; 2 have an adjoining...

"Poorly maintained, overgrown and tired. Walls are peeling off. The kitchens don’t have an oven. Water pressure is non existent, if someone uses water downstairs there is no water upstairs. WiFi doesn’t work downstairs, upstairs the connection is really poor. No air conditioning. No sofa or other soft furniture except the beds. Dining room chairs are not sturdy, some are broken. Outdoor furniture is old and the plastic is brittle. Not as listed, everything is unkempt. Dirty floors, bathrooms...

"Een heerlijk sfeervol huis in een meer dan prachtige omgeving. Met 6 volwassenen en af en toe vrienden op bezoek een heerlijke plek. Mooi zwembad, schitterend uitzicht en een pizza oven . Wandelen, fietsen, tennis en padel in de omgeving en meer dan genoeg leuke restaurants. We hopen nog een keer terug te komen!"

"I personally had a great time cycling with Gian. The house itself is very clean and complete. Nice swimming pool. Fresh eggs from the chicken. Be prepared for the slightly rocky dirt road of around 1km leading to the home."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location. The garden and pool were beautiful and the kids spent most of the week in the pool. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby but the house was well equipped to self- cater. Our hosts Jess and Trevor were really helpful and communicative. Would throughly recommend."

"Sehr schwierig und ohne Begleitung eines Guards nicht zu finden. Lage aber wunderschön. Küche könnte sauberer sein. Küchenausstattung, z.B. Geschirr, Gläser, Besteck sehr einfach. Die Wohnung ist angeblich für 8 Personen, es gibt aber nicht einmal 4 gleiche Tassen, eher Studentenbudenniveau. Betten sehr einfach. Man kann für wenig Geld die Ausstattung wesentlich verbessern. Balkonmöbel nicht ausreichend und sehr basic. Lage und Assicht vom Balkon wunderschön."

"Property located among vines and 1 km from Calosso centre and its limited bar although the ristorante d'elsa is 50m away and open for lunch. Various locations (Canelli, Stefano Belbo, Agliano, Moasca) are all within 5mls with all necessary facilities and services. A sufficiency of ristorante/agriturismi are scattered among the local countryside and small supermarket nearby with larger concern in Costigliole, 7kms away. If I ever fulfill my dream of owning a property in Italy a house such as this...
