"Hotel Demora Fornillo was pure magic. The views, helpful staff, complementary breakfast in the garden and location were perfect. The location is on the north side of Positano, nestled up the hill (about 300 steps UP). We found this location to out of the busy downtown area, however just a close walk by foot! It truly felt like a vacation and only wish we stayed longer. "

"The room was spacious and comfortable, shower was great. It was a little noisy from inside the room, we could hear the other rooms bathroom (shower, toilet noise) and the reception phone ringing. The service from the staff was excellent, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok, but often ran out of some things and not much hot selection. Overall we enjoyed the hotel, comfortable room, great pool area and helpful staff 😄"

"The staff were very nice and friendly. The parking is private but does cost 30 euros a day to park. The steps are older and a lot of them to the top. Dining with in walking distant is limited but the b&b next door restaurant was amazing. The view was wonderful."

"Oh my word, where do I start? Antonio and Pasquale were so helpful and arranged the most perfect trip for my sister, mother and I. "Unfortunately this hotel was not for us. When we arrived we had to enter through an underground garage. The rooms were dated and we had ants in the bathroom. There are two sides to this hotel the wedding and party venue which looks very nice ...and the annex that we were put in. We moved the next morning. "The villa was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the location - quiet and off the beaten path! The house was well appointed with comfortable beds and the swimming pool was a bonus! "Property is as listed. Property manager, Luca, was totally awesome! He was very responsive and helpful. Arranged an in villa cooking class and dinner for us on our last night. Amazing. Know that you have to walk a lot of steps to and from town unless you’re willing to wait for a shuttle bus reasonably close by. If you have knee issues, it should be a consideration, but the view was worth every step! Thank me for the opportunity to stay here!"
