Enchanting views from this 2-bedroom apartment with sea-facing terrace and direct access to the sea at Praiano on the Amalfi Coast
Get ready for some truly mesmerising views from this 2-bedroom apartment in Praiano. Just a 15-minute drive from neighbouring Positano, and well placed for visiting the most iconic sights of the Amalfi Coast, this charm-packed fishing village is quieter than Positano and highly recommended if you’re looking for local flavour and laid-back vibes.
A holiday at Casa Gianna is all about relaxation. There’s a parking spot allocated to the apartment, but being able to stroll to the shops and restaurants in Praiano town or hop on a bus to explore further afield is a real bonus. Even better than that, the apartment has direct access to the sea via a scenic pathway hewn out of the rock. With a total of 205 steps, the fenced path winds down the verdant hillside, punctuated by panoramic viewpoints with benches and a shower, to a seafront platform that overlooks a natural pool which the kids will love. The path is shared with the other apartments in the building, which are generally occupied by their owners during the summer months.
Casa Gianna extends over 90m², with a living-dining room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment is traditionally furnished, with minimal furniture but everything you would need for a relaxing break. What makes it truly special is the wonderful covered terrace, which offers simply spellbinding views and is an idyllic place to enjoy leisurely breakfasts and alfresco dinners regardless of the weather.
The terrace is accessed directly via floor-to-ceiling glass doors from the living room, where there are 2 double sofas and a TV. To the rear of the living room is a dining table for 6. An independent kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons, including a washing machine.

• Access to the apartment’s allocated parking spot is via a private track and an electric gate. From here, there’s a descent of 40 easy-to-manage steps, and then a climb of 25 steps.
• The path to the sea includes 205 steps and is shared with other apartment owners in the building. Panoramic viewpoints and benches provide welcome spots to rest at during the climb back up to the apartment. The path leads to the water’s edge where a secluded rock pool is a lovely place for children to swim.
• The Amalfi Coast is delightful at any time of the year but is at its busiest during the summer months. If you prefer to stay slightly off the beaten track, Praiano is generally quieter than neighbouring Positano and Amalfi and has retained the atmosphere of a sleepy fishing town.
• You’ll enjoy great food wherever you are on the Amalfi Coast. Visit a local ‘caseificio’ to taste creamy mozzarella and ricotta cheeses, and feast on deep-fried anchovies, warm seafood salads and spaghetti alle vongole as the sun goes down over the water.
