This property is disgusting. As soon as you walk in the foyer of the building you are hit with cigarette and cigar smoke, which permeates into the studio through the vents, drains and under the door. We reported it to the host, TurnKey, and while they were responsive they did nothing about it and offered no solution other than to suggest we “take care of ourselves”. To be clear, it’s not a safe environment for guests to be sleeping in thick second hand tobacco smoke. We had booked for two nights but left after the first night as we woke up coughing, and couldn’t even shower as the towels stunk of cigarettes.
The “loft” bed is an extremely cramped space and not suitable for anyone who cannot crawl around on their hands and knees to get to bed.
Also be aware that despite booking through Expedia, the Expedia agents have limited access to the booking as it’s actually through stayz/ turnkey, so getting any assistance with issues is difficult.
Unless you’re a heavy smoker and happy to be hotboxed in a cramped, dirty apartment, don’t stay here.
