The photos and website make this place look great but it's not. Very dated, in a fairly sketchy area of Prague. Other guests appear in some cases to be long term renters. Whole place smells like cigarette smoke. They charge 20euro per night extra to park. We made it through and the staff was nice and helpful but we would not book again.

Nearly there, but not quite. Worth the cost
I had a very pleasant experience staying at Terrace Hotel. The room was large and the bed huge and incredibly comfortable. Everything was super clean and hotel arranged for my room to be cleaned, despite me leaving for the day mid-afternoon. Location cannot be called central, but the tram is only a ten minute walk away. Staff were very friendly. However, there were a few issues with my stay. My hotel shuffle service took me an hour to find and, despite them being advertised on my booking, there were no toiletries, even once requested. I was also supposedly charged €15 for late Check-IN, something that I have never heard of before. Once these few issues are ironed out, I’ll recommend this hotel highly.

Okay but not much of a view
Expected to see views of Prague but you’re either facing another apartment block or a graffitied park, bed abit firm although sofa bed much more comfy, apartment is simple with pots and pans, always warm which was perfect for coming back from the cold, if your stay is longer than 2 days it’s meant to be cleaned on the 3rd day although no cleaner in sight. Easy 30min walk from Old Town/St Wenceslas square.

To begin, I was pleased by the setting of the apartment because it was very quiet, without the noise of traffic. Another positive was that my apartment was quite roomy and had a patio. Unfortunately, I wasn't happy about how limited the check-in hours were (only 14:00-16:00 on Saturday) but I understand that this isn't a standard hotel. However, I was further disappointed by the condition of the room in which I found no toilet paper and a lot of spiders and dust. Also, I would have preferred if soap was provided in both the kitchenette and bathroom. I was unable to wash used dishes properly. At check-out, the receptionist was on the phone so I was not questioned about my stay. Otherwise, I would've voiced these concerns. Overall, I was a bit unsatisfied. While the price was reasonable (for spacious accomodations in Prague), I felt I could've found much better quality elsewhere. On my next visit, I will opt for a different location.
