Fantastic hotel, great Localle
With plenty to see, do, eat and drink with in a 10 minute walk in any direction, let alone the city centre this place was a hidden Gem. When we come back, we know where we're staying!

Pleasant stay
The hotel is located in a very nice safe area, very close to the center (three stops with the tram, about a 20 minutes walk). The staff were very nice, we arrived earlier and they could check us in. Also they gave us a map and showed us how to get to the attraction points of the city. The rooms and the bathrooms are very big. As other mentioned the weak point is the water at the shower, it's whether very hot, or cold, it's just a few seconds ok, then it turns hot or cold and you have to wait for a while to be ok again. The wi-fi was very good. All in all for the money we paid it was more than expected :)

15 mins on tram from city centre
Lovely receptionists and helpful. The place is 15 mins on tram from city centre. Loads of small intimate pubs in the surrounding, and a pub with good food right next to it. We had the attic room, big and bright during day but the lighting was very dark for nights. Overall, I would recommend it! ****

Nice hotel about a 10-minute walk from the metro
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was good. There was baked stuff (3 or 4 kinds of bread and croissants), meat (salami and ham), and cheese (2 types) every day, along with cereal, eggs (scrambled and boiled), and various other things. The room was fine for the price, but the linens were a little old. The toilet didn't flush very well, but this might not be specifically a hotel problem. They provide soap in a wall dispenser in the bathroom, so you need to bring your own body soap and shampoo if you don't want to use what seems to be hand soap to bathe. Good, solid WiFi connection.

Overall Good
Great location. If your neighbours are loud - you can hear them. Close to transportation system. Clean and well served rooms. Management/Reception - one guy at reception - very non-customer oriented. I complained on some problem with the light. He wrote in his notes. Nothing as a result. Never say hi to you. Other guy is very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast - price/quality.

Good room but difficult to reach
The room was very spacious, comfortable and elegant. It was located on a quiet street which was a plus. The decor was royal with large spacious bathroom, wooden fittings, soft lighting and comfortable bed and accessories. It was very relaxing and we highly recommend it for long stays. In line with the pretty, fairy-tale city which Prague is. The only downside was that it is a fair bit of walk from the Prague Hl. n. station with quite a gradient which was tiring every time to walk. Also, the access path to the room was bit of a task in itself with multiple short steps to ascend, a ramp, and few doors before you reach the lift. Even after getting off the lift you have to take stairs as the lift level was between 2 floors. Annoying to get to the room from the reception. The check-in process is too long and time consuming.

The hotel is on the outskirts of city centre
The Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Prague with a steep road up to it. It has an excellent Tram service within 5 mins walk or if you are energetic a 20 minute walk into town but a bit of an uphill struggle on return. The trams run every few minutes and costs 24Kc single, one thing we learned when buying tickets buy for the the return journey as well. The hotel staff were very helpful and the breakfasts included in the price was excellent. For an evening meal with local cuisine and value for money is within 5 minutes walking.

Enjoyed our stay
The hotel was generally very good. The main room and the bathroom were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Also the room had a private kitchen. You could use the fridge and sink for free (both very handy) - but you had to pay to use the cooking equipment (not that we had need to, as we ate out). Unfortunately, there seemed to be a patch of what smelled like balsamic vinegar on the kitchen table underneath the tea and coffee tray - which we had to clean up. The hotel staff were helpful, with only one blemish. We'd prepaid for our breakfast when we booked via hotels.com however one member of staff denied this and asked us to pay a fee of 5 Euro per person, per day. It took speaking to another member of staff, who in turn spoke to her manager to get this sorted. The hotel is only a short tram ride from the city centre, however, it is worth baring in mind that in order to get to and from the tram stop, there is a rather steep hill you have to climb down/up. I imagine this would pose problems for people who are elderly or disabled. The breakfast itself was buffet style and good quality. It included the usual continental fare, but also sausages and eggs (boiled and scambled). We felt full and satisfied each day. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay, and our stay there again.

Hotel was fairly basic but room was very clean and staff friendly. Refrigerator didn't work for 4 days but it wasn't really a problem. The location was close for trams, restaurants and bars but did not have a bar on the premises.

unsatisfactory and unclean room
the room is an apartment type with its own kitchen but the use of kitchen is charge separately. when we arrive the smell of the apartment is bit odd (like pungent) not a fresh clean smell for a hotel. the exterior is a bit dark and the lightning is not so good. the single bed is a bit small for an adult although we book for three adult room. The Queen size bed is sagging and the bedsheets and pillows had holes in it and a bit itchy for me Im not sure why. Toilet is not very clean in my standard as I found a dirt in few places specially the toilet flush. Towels are not change everyday and they forgot to throw the trash inside the toilet they just put it on the side. The shower is very bad. it's either you get bald because it's too hot or you freeze because it's too cold and there's no in between.when we told the reception about it they say they can't help us.

Walking up that hill
The hotel room had a lot of space which is great and free wifi. It is at the top of a hill so be prepared to exercise this leg muscles. Right down the hill is the War Museum which I think is the best museum in Prague if you like history and it is free! On Saturday there is a farmers market a few blocks the other way. Laundry is like 20 minute walk. The only negative is they charge if you use the kitchen and a bit loud at night due to people talking on street.

After initial confusion over a changed booking all went very well. Rooms were clean and serviced every day, the staff courteous and efficient. A little out the way for the less mobile but the tram is just down the road and metro about a 15 minute walk. Good value for money.
