"We stayed here with our kids (16,13 and 12) and it was a lovely lodge. We loved the hot tub and how peaceful the location was. I’ve given the overall rating a 3 out of 5 as I felt there were some things that could be improved. There was a lot of black mould in the bottom of the shower, there were no locks on bathroom doors and the boiler in one of the rooms was very loud and kept the kids awake at points during the night. Overall, we would come back to this lodge, however not in the summer...

"I liked this glamping POD, it was cosy with a working toilet and shower. The hot tub was excellent, we spent a lot of time in it. It was not inflatable but a real one that could hold 4-6 people. It was self check in so there was no issues getting in, when we arrived around 8.30pm. "A lovely 3 night Stay in Hay on Wye. The cottage is stunning and so well located for browsing the shops, the sights and the castle and perfect to pop back and forth if needed. Very central but also very peaceful. Communication from Sue was amazing and she was really accommodating and generous throughout our stay. I would book here again in a heartbeat."

"We had an amazing stay at this cottage for a few days of walking the Brecon Beacons. Cottage has everything needed, is in a great location for walking and has an amazing pub ‘Royal Oak’ with superb food in easy walking distance. Pity about the issue with the heating and TV didn’t work, but these were minor issues compared to the great cottage. Thank you Richard"

"Cottage was warm and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Ample parking and a secluded back garden. Perfect for the weekend. Added bonus was the log fire. "

"The cabin was such a special place with the river right at the edge of the garden. We sat out and enjoyed dinner on the platform just next to the water and lit a small fire in the fire pit under the stars. The property was ideal for myself and my two young children (6 and 8, all of us sharing the one room) but would also be great for a couple looking for a getaway in a convenient location for exploring the beautiful surrounding area."
