"From the initial contact through to check-out, our experience at Parkside Cottage was exceptional. All the little touches were there including fully equipped kitchen with an assortment of staple items supplied, bathroom with plenty of towels, bedrooms with plenty of storage and comfy beds. The outdoor areas were great too with a covered porch and a patio with gas BBQ. "We came as a group of lady golfers and the house was perfect for our needs. It is well stocked with everything you could need and more. Beds super comfy, back deck lovely to sit on and have coffee. Rebecca was quick to respond and even allowed us in a bit early to leave stuff before we went golfing. It’s not just the house but the special touches that Rebecca provided. There was fruit and scones - perfect for a quick breakfast or a snack. We didn’t have to worry about buying coffee or cream...

"Property was great However you should bring bottled water as tap water has sulfur smell. Or installing a water filter would improve stay. Stools were very squeaky, could use an upgrade. Otherwise everything was perfect"

"We loved staying at this home. Loved the beautiful fenced backyard for our small children and dog, and the house was spacious and comfortable. The master suite is beautiful! It was so nice to be close to the beach so we could walk down anytime we wanted. We were in town for a wedding, and recommended the house to our friends in town, if they know of anyone needing a large place to stay"

"Hubby and I loved it and cant wait to go back. The Lohr family was great. Kristin was super accommodating in so many ways and gave us complete privacy. The only thing that could be improved is the patio. We'd love to be able to sit outside to drink our coffee rain or shine. There's no gutters and even though there's a pergola, the furniture got soaked and stayed wet our whole stay.. "

"We had a brilliant time!!! We had salt water hot tubs, ocean dips, walks, cozy fires, spectacular views and sunsets, and first class accommodations!!! We would highly recommend staying here - it’s absolutely marvellous!!!"

"This was our first trip to Savary Island. We didn’t really know what to expect but Samantha, our host, communicated with us and gave us some really useful info. Place is very big and in a perfect location, 4 min away from an amazing beach. All other spots on the island are a bike ride away. Would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone. If you like beautiful, quiet, safe place and amazing beaches with unbelievably warm water (September 1st) Savary island resort is your place to go to."

"It was so nice to get out of the city and away from traffic noise and city lights. All amenities were provided and the spring water was delicious. The old house is full of charm and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen very modern. We didn't get to use the wood stove because the weather was warm. All in all, it was a wonderful stay."

"My husband and I enjoyed exploring the coastal beaches, visiting pleasant nearby towns, and hiking near Mt. Washington. All short distances from "The Nest". We enjoyed meeting host Mylissa who was eager to make our visit enjoyable and communication easy. The "nest" was more spacious and open than suggested by the photos and was very up-to-date in all appliances, light fixtures, mattresses, linens, etc. Kitchen was amazingly well equipped. Made our visit a pleasure. "
