"This is probably our 9th or 10th stay here, it is such a home away from home in a lovely village, but also with great access via the bus to Oxford. We even went to London for the day this time which was very simple. "

"We loved our stay here. The cottage has loads of quirky architectural features. It's remote enough to see the stars in the hot tub on a clear night, but has a lot of towns and villages around to drive to for days out, plus local walks which were detailed in the welcome book. We mostly stayed cocooned in the cottage as it's so warm and snug. The cottage is situated in a working horse riding stable so during the day people are coming and going in front of the cottage as they arrive and depart, so...

"We had a lovely stay as a young family of four. Although the two single bed room wasn't really appropriate for our young children as the stairs were quite steep and it was a mezzanine as opposed to a separate room. But fortunately the owner installed a stairgate for us which made things a lot safer. It'll be worth mentioning this in the description. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and it was close to lots of family friendly activities"

"We used this for a base to see the 2024 British GP at Silverstone and it was perfect. The home easily accommodated our group of 11, and the home is perfectly appointed. Fresh bread and pastry are delivered daily, there is a cute cafe there, too. Really a very nice place to stay"

"Wonderful stay at the Jubilee cottage during Christmas! Beautiful weather and walking paths. Great communication from the caretaker. Kitchen stocked for cooking full meals. Here is some feedback to update the listing that did not affect our trip much: DVD player was not functional, too old to hook up to the TV. Only Washing machine available, no dryer. "Had a great stay at this beautiful cottage. The location was great, right next to beautiful walks, a lovely village and local pub. Having the wood burner was the magic touch. Only few things I would say. There is no microwave. The heating came on very early and made a tapping noise which woke us up and the hot tub was a wood fire one and despite us constantly going out and topping up the fire we couldn’t get it to temperate. I appreciate it was cold but for whole stay we didn’t go in it so...

"We booked this place only for a couple of nights as we needed somewhere to stay whilst i attended a local hospital. The property itself is nicely renovated, keeping old features of the barn with modern heating and bathroom etc which was lovely. Checkin was easy and the owners were nearby if needed but not intrusive. Nice big sofa and clean everywhere, nice bath and underfloor heating. The surrounding area is lovely, and I imagine if we attended during a time where the whole country wasnt...
