"The house was comfortable and perfect for our family. There was a great hill by the house the kids could sled down. Only issue we had was neighbor was a bit confrontational- screaming from his house that the kids were making too much noise at 10 a.m. while they were playing in the snow. Other than that - great area. "

The lakefront location on a quiet cove was ideal, with numerous opportunities for fishing, swimming, kayaking, etc. All equipment for enjoying these activities was in excellent shape. "I spent 2 serene weeks here and hope to return some day! With modern creature comforts in the kitchen, the rest of this home is very rustic. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and are into drawing, cooking or reading books to the sounds of trees rustling and water flowing across the street, you will be in heaven here. "Sweet location and they remodeled it nice. However, be warned the bar next door does loud live music and the whole building shakes. Would only reccomend to the young party crowd. Not ideal for families. The manager was nice and did try to offer a refund for a night. Not sure how many people want to hear music vibrating until 2am. Young me would not have cared. Sweet beach access"

Gem in Danbury

"So thrilled to have found this hotel for a last-minute booking when our original reservation in town fell through. The lobby is stylishly decorated and comfortable. Our room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family of four and dog. Everything was spotless and service, from the front desk staff to the lovely person who came to make up the sofa bed, was so attentive and kind. Light complimentary breakfast was the perfect thing to get something quick before we left in the morning. I spotted the gym while walking the dog and it looked great, I wish I'd had a chance to visit. We would not hesitate to stay again!"
