"I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. The golf is excellent, the tennis set-up is disappointing despite the number of courts. ...

The rooms are clean and comfortable - the only downsides are: no tea/coffee making facilities (a uniquely British woe!), the lack of a shower curtain, meaning the bathroom gets soaked, and the rooms appear to lack soundproofing as you can easily hear your neighbours / doors closing and opening at all hours. I don’t think the other guests were particularly noisy, just the rooms are a bit old. On the positive side, a lovely pool area and a nice area...
