"Amazing location on a completely private small lake just a few minutes off the Taconic Parkway. Host is very helpful, and very artistic. Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! Nice hiking trails on the large property, which has adjacent preserved land. "

"My husband and I stayed here to relax, rejuvenate, and celebrate his birthday. We had a wonderful time! He really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while listening to the sound of the creek. Our dog, Gambit, loved laying near the pellet stove to warm up on those cold nights. The hosts were/are wonderful and are very attentive and responsive! They have small touches here and there that really make the stay special (like the dog bowls and treats). We are already looking forward to our next stay...

"The house was comfortable and perfect for our family. There was a great hill by the house the kids could sled down. Only issue we had was neighbor was a bit confrontational- screaming from his house that the kids were making too much noise at 10 a.m. while they were playing in the snow. Other than that - great area. "
