"This is a nicely updated historic hotel in the heart of San Diego. Unfortunately, the updates could not do anything about the thin walls that are commonplace in older buildings. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, though it felt a bit warm and stuffy at times. Overall, the convenience and cozy atmosphere made for a great stay. Would definitely return!"

"It’s a great location for proximity to both local malls. Accommodations are decent. You can tell housekeeping cuts corners in their cleaning as I had to clean the shower before use and the drain was slow. Not what I expect as a Hilton member. They also have irregular cleaning hours. One day I came back to my room around 1pm and still had not yet been cleaned. In general staff is friendly. Restaurant is convenient but not a must try. Parking fee is one of the highest in the area at $37 a day. It...
