There is a small stream, Poso Creek, you can explore on National Forest public land very close to the ranch with a road and trails from the ranch to it. Fish in the Poso creek are small natives that take skill to catch. There are other streams in the area you can fish, the ones that are planted with fish are about 45 minutes away or the Kern River an hour away. There are forest service trails and roads in the area. There are two historic lookouts about 30 minutes away and Giant Seqouia groves such as those along the Trail of 100 Giants about 45 minutes away.
