"Very small room.No amenities And very uncomfortable. No air conditioning and we were not able to keep the windows open because there was no screen provided on the windows And bugs would get inside the room. We had to keep the windows closed at night. I fell The first time I used the shower in the bathroom because the bathtub was very slick and there was nothing to hold on. I injured my head and my right hand trying to hold on to something. The owner bought Something to prevent the slippage, But...

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rural La Cortina, so chilled out with those wonderful views. The property is so in keeping with the natural environment it is surrounded by. Our welcome was very hospitable and the hosts were very eager to make our stay just perfect. El entorno es inmejorable : Naturaleza, cerca del rio… en un pueblo con algún bar (a 5 min del alojamiento ), tienda de ultramarinos y panadería- quesería pegando a la casa. "We did not stay there because the information in the site was that this place is 6.1 miles from posada de valdeon which is misleading and since no one in the hotel could communicate with us in English when we called. Therefore we told the hotel that we want to cancelour stay and wish to obtain refund if we were charged. We are hoping that hotel. Com will take a good care of this issue. Dina"

The breakfast is delicious— all home made (jams.) from the moment you arrive, they make you feel welcomed and share their knowledge of things to do around the area. Their home is charming and full of collectibles and pictures that tell the home’s story."

We do not speak Spanish and he went out of his way to give us great recommendations for the area. Our dinner was vey tasty and well worth the extra charge. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

"A fantastic place to stay to enjoy the coast and mountains of Asturias. The two terraces are amazing and there is a great set of furniture on each to enjoy the sun from morning to evening.
