Large, Victorian, 5 bed house in the heart of Southsea. A short walk to the bustling shops, restaurants & pubs on busy Albert Road & only a 15 min walk to the Seafront. Perfect for large groups wanting a base to explore Southsea or if you're working in the area. We are open to accepting Pets, but please message us first, woof!

This is a great neighbourhood. You are close to lots of bars lovely independent shops, bars and restaurants on Albert Road. Just a few minutes walk to the seafront area where you will find plenty of other activities too, such as;
• Canoe Lake & recreational park
• Tennis courts
• Pitch & putt
• Model village

For craft beer lovers there are a couple of awesome options nearby. The Merchant house is just 5 mins walk and has a huge selection of craft beers and some amazing street food style dishes. A 15 min walk in the opposite direction will take you to Staggeringly good brewery. Fantastic cool warehouse venue where they brew there own beers and also offer pizza.

A character filled, large Victorian house, coupled with high ceilings and large bay windows in the living room and front bedroom. Enjoy your morning coffee in the outside courtyard or in front of your high windows while taking in the ocean sun.

A kitchen/dining area with plenty of character. You will also find a large fridge, freezer, washing machine lots of cooking utensils and appliances.
Outdoor courtyard with dining table and a quirky outside toilet!

FIRST FLOOR
Three spacious double-bedrooms with fireplaces. One single-room with wardrobe.
Bathroom with Shower & toilet.

Taxis are cheap and plentiful. You also have Uber in the area.

There are plenty of buses that run along Albert/Highland Rd and Fratton train station is just a 15 walk away.

A travel cot and/or highchair can also be purchased in advance via the Marketplace in the guidebook and we will ensure they are there for your arrival.

Please be mindful of quiet hours between 11pm – 8am.

Dogs are allowed at the property for short-stay only.
We charge an extra £100 pet deposit.

All of our properties are non-smoking as the comfort of our guests is very important to us. If a property has been smoked in we will need to carry out a deep clean to remove the smell which will incur a minimum charge of £100.

PLEASE NOTE - IF BOOKING FOR 28 DAYS OR MORE A REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT OF £800 WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY TO THE HOST SEPARATELY & THE CLEANING FEE WILL BE INCREASED TO £170.

Lovely bank holiday week in Portsmouth
Had a lovely stay in this property. Had to book it quite last minute and we were concerned it might not be big enough but it was great. Location also good - you can walk to the beach/seafront from here, and get a bus to the dockyard area. Communication with the owners was excellent - they were very responsive! All in all, had 5 days of sun so couldn't ask for more!!
