If I could, I would rate this property 11 out of 10. The staff is remarkable, they made nice stay comfortable and smart. I didn’t even feel like I wasn’t from the country. The property itself is breathtaking and spotless. They always around the clock making sure the property is presentable and clean. I traveled alone this trip, and they took very good care of me and made my stay amazing I am very grateful for them. This was my first time here in Dominica but I promise you this is not my last.

A unique "5-star" resort, for many reasons...
I'm NOT overly critical the way most Americans tend to be. I'm aware of differences between other countries and the U.S. so I do not have the same type of expectations abroad as I do in the states. I'll break up the review into categories: WELCOME / RECEPTION - 10/10 - As soon as we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Very welcoming reception staff especially the "lady in red" (whose name I wish I remembered) had the most welcoming smile and was VERY helpful with some things we needed during our stay. RESORT PROPERTY - 10/10 - It's absolutely stunning. It's the epitome of a 5-star resort "look". You'll be in awe at every corner. The attention to detail is impeccable. KIDS CLUB - 10/10 - Traveling with a 3-year old and 1-year old, THIS was the main reason we chose this resort. The Kids Club is abundantly furnished with stuff to entertain kids for days on end. Nzinga (the wonderful 20-year old in charge) has the perfect personality for this place. Our kids loved her. FOOD QUALITY / SERVICE - 4/10 - It's bad, really bad. It feels as though the employees hate their job (except the girl from the Philippines who gave 5-star resort service the entire time). There's no sense of urgency. A dinner meal for 2 takes an average of 45-50 minutes to serve and the food is overpriced, sometimes undercooked, and 3-star quality at best. A lunch once took 65 minutes to receive! Improve "Food & Beverage" A LOT and the resort will become 5-star. For now, it's only a 4.5-star resort.

The property is very beautiful, most of their services and dining and bar options weren't available. The lobby is also very warm. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The property is 1 hr away from the airport.

Beautiful view but not good service :(
Beautiful hotel but poor service. Front desk was very friendly but then there was no one else to service. When we requested something it took forever or never came. It was not family friendly at all which is sad when you get 5 rooms and the pool closes at 6pm - that needs to change. The kids play area was never open which was very disappointing for the kids. The cost of food was VERY high considering what you get and the poor staff needs more training - they had no idea what was on the menu or what to recommend. There was no pool side service. Went to the morning buffet twice and both times they had hardly anything left. no table service to help with breakfast. We ate at the restaurant and bar and the service there was VERY slow and the food was less than average. We spent thousands of dollars and left very disappointed :( beautiful place to visit but needs to step up the service so it would be worth it.
