The owner was lovely, very welcoming and even though we couldnā€™t communicate very well in English or Spanish she answered all my questions. Generally the room was clean and tidy and it was very large. The beds were comfortable. The main issue I had was that the room smelt strange to the point that I felt very nauseous. Iā€™m not sure if this was the diffusers that had been placed around the room or damp but it did spoil the experience a bit. I would usually have complained but due to the fact that we were walking the Camino and there was nowhere available nearby I put up with it. All this said, I would return if the issue was resolved as everything else was acceptable.

On arrival we were told that it was their mistake but we no longer had a booking- they had overbooked. They told me that they had sent me an email two days prior but we didnā€™t see it as we are walking the Camino. We are traveling with another couple so it was very annoying to be split up. They did help us to book another hotel 2kmā€™s up the road ( more walking after a tired day) which sort of turned out to be a blessing as it was much nicer than this stark hotel which is nothing more than a house that has been converted into 4 rooms.

What a great stop on The Way. Nice people, clean room, HOT SHOWER, great pilgrim menu, who could ask for anything more.

La ducha no estaba limpia, el telĆ©fono de la ducha no se sujetaba. No habĆ­a suficiente jabĆ³n. Solo me dieron una toalla y estaba hĆŗmeda. La habitaciĆ³n era grande y dormĆ­ calentita pero holia raro. La seƱora que lo lleva vino a cobrarme tarde y tuve que salir en pijama. Este sitio es una pedania de PortomarĆ­n esta a unos 8km andando o te cojes un taxi que cuesta 10 ā‚¬. Yo coji la opciĆ³n del taxi porque estaba cansada. Me gaste mĆ”s dinero de lo que habĆ­a planeado.

El espacio de la ducha es muy pequeƱo , la regadera de telĆ©fono no tiene donde colgarla y no hay donde poner el jabĆ³n , ni el champoo lo que hace que el baƱo no sea agradable por tanta incomodidad , ....... no hay ventilaciĆ³n y el vapor de la ducha se concentra y hace que toda la habitaciĆ³n estĆ© hĆŗmeda , no hay aire acondicionado y la ventana no tiene mosquitero , no hay tv

Lugar muy tranquilo, ideal para dormir, cogimos habitaciĆ³n con baƱo incluido, y tenĆ­a wifi. Otro punto positivo es que habĆ­a un bar al lado con bocadillos y desayunos.

Lugar ideal para descansar
Un lugar perfecto para hacer un alto durante el camino de Santiago y alargar un poco mĆ”s la etapa desde PortomarĆ­n. La pensiĆ³n se encuentra ubicada en una pequeƱa aldea muy tranquila, que cuenta con un bar que ofrece bocadillos, cenas y desayunos.
