I wish I could give them a glowing review, since the house itself is quite lovely, but there were issues:
1. No communication from host. All my questions on VRBO platform was ignored. Three days prior to arrival, I had to escalate to VRBO that host was unresponsive and no check-in instructions had been sent. I was starting to think I'd been scammed. I was only able to contact them after VRBO provided phone number of the owner, who directed me to the management team. They claimed that instructions were sent to my email, but I checked and there was no email from them.
2. Inaccurate description. Laundry and washing machine is listed in the amenities, but there's none. I even texted the host the day before arrival and she confirmed yes, there's a clothes washer. There's none.
3. Another inaccuracy -- this property is listed as 3.5 baths, but the half bathroom has no door knob on the door, so you can't open it from the outside. In fact, the 2 bedrooms upstairs also have doorknobs that are falling off. One of my friends got stuck inside the bedroom since the knob fell off. Luckily, one of us was able to push in the door from the outside.
4. Lack of sustainability -- we had to buy hand soaps for each sink, paper towels for the kitchen since no cloth towels were provided, etc. In this age when we should all be trying to be green and sustainable, having to buy disposable stuff that will be thrown out after our stay is disappointing.
