My Oporto House is part of a restored building dated 1850, which is classified by UNESCO as World Heritage! Your luxury stay in Porto!

It's located in the heart of historic Oporto city centre, in Douro riverside quarter known as Ribeira, surrounded by the most beautiful and important sights of the city like Palace of Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace), S João Novo Palace, Dom Fernando Wall, S Francisco Church, Palace of Arts, Hard Club, Douro and Port Wines Institute, House of Henry - The Navigator, Ribeira riverside area, Dom Luis I Eiffel bridge and Port Wine Cellars. All that you want to see in Porto, just a few steps from your home!

In this quarter, you can stroll around the narrow twisting streets, enjoy the colorful facades of the houses, once painted once tiled, taste the most tipical food in busy 'tascas' or restaurants or take party in one of the most lively bars in Ribeira or 'Galerias de Paris'!

Despite its prime location, the house is situated in a very quiet and silent place, so the guests can have a good nights!

Fantastic location. Close to the Douro river and the wine caves. But what made our stay more enjoyable was all the attention and help from Isabel. We had a great stay and hope to be back.

Updated and comfortable studio with a good location for exploring central Porto. Isabel makes everything easy. Definitely recommend the Douro Valley wine tour. A beautiful spot in the world.

Fabulous location
We so vey much enjoyed our vacation in this lovely, roomy, clean apartment. We most enjoyed it's proximity to the river and it's great location to wonderful restaurants and sites. The apartment has everything to make your stay enjoyable and Isabel's communication is excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment for your stay in Porto.

Our experience with Isabel was fantastic from the beginning to the end. She went above and beyond to help us enjoy our trip and experience the Portuguese culture. The house was perfect for my husband and l and it had everything we needed. It’s in a good location and surrounded by good restaurants and shops. Isabel personally welcomed us and made herself available. We highly recommend her place, we’re also planning on coming back soon.

We loved our stay with Isabel in Porto. The Apartment was spotless, very well designed and comfortable for two. Isabel arranged transportation for us and a great full-day Douro Valley wine tour that I highly recommend. If your looking for a place with a high design fell this is your place. It’s a 2nd floor walk-up but not unmanageable if you can walk the hills of Porto. Also can be noisy at night but that’s the cost of a great location.

Amazing Porto
Porto was amazing, but what really made our week was Isabel and her home. The property is in an excellent location to explore the historic city center, the decor made it feel like an elegant stay in a home, exactly what you hope for, but rarely find in short term rentals. The star was our host, Isabel’s suggestions and attention to ensure we enjoyed our visit was truly the best. We would highly recommend, and look forward to visiting again. Marc and Julie

We had a fabulous time in Porto, thanks to our stay in a terrific place and neighborhood, as well as the wonderful hospitality of our host, Isabel. She treated us as if we were old friends coming to stay at her home for a few days, offering incredible recommendations and checking in with us throughout our visit. Beautifully designed apartment in a perfect location
We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. The apartment is a great size for two people and beautifully designed. Isabel the host met us at the apartment even though we arrived early so we could drop off our bags and couldn't do enough for you with excellent recommendations and always on hand for queries. Definitely try Mistu and Intrigo which are restaurants very close by and were some of the best food we had in Porto. The apartment is very centrally located and all the main attractions are easily walkable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we get chance to visit Porto again!

A Gem in Porto, a Gem of a City
It is hard to overstate the advantages of staying at this VRBO property. The location is just 1 or 2 blocks from Porto’s iconic riverfront. It has a classy interior with everything one would want—a full kitchen, modern shower, washer/dryer, TV, and many more advantages. A giant advantage is the owner, who offered many suggestions, helped set up day trips, and made sure everything went smoothly. In case someone doesn’t know it, Porto is a great place to visit for sightseers, wine lovers, foodies and because of a welcoming “vibe.”

Amazing!!!
This was a perfect place to stay. Isabel is incredibly friendly and very responsive. She met us on our first day to make sure we were settled in. She provided recommendations before and throughout our stay in Porto to make sure we had the best time possible. The location is perfect. Steps to the Tram, the bus, the water … everything really. The apartment is so tastefully decorated, very comfortable. We have everything we needed. There is a quaint balcony with beautiful views Isabel went above and beyond to make our trip to Porto memorable. Thank you Isabel!!

Wonderful place and location!
Location was fabulous! Apartment was clean and very functional. Isabel puts thought into everything and even took out a few toys/dishes for our 3 year old boy. Parking was a little tricky, but Isabel helped to locate the free parking street on a very steep and tight street. In my opinion, I would have preferred a little less correspondence with Isabel as she was overly communicative. Basic information and answering my few questions would have been enough for me personally.

Above and Beyond
I’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals this experience exceeded most firstly due to Isabelle the host. From a onsite greeting upon arrival, a sample of Port wine for us to try and detailed suggestions with a map for visits during our stay. She arranged Airport pick up and return, restaurant reservations, personal walking guide and much more. The unit is a well designed and supplied Studio with a very comfortable bed and open Balcony. Some stairs leading up off the street, but nothing difficult. It’s located in a great central area so walking to all the highlights of Porto us absolutely doable. I recommend very highly, you will love it and her.

5 star host in Porto
Isabel is the best VRBO host we have ever encountered. From her excellent communications in advance of our arrival to greeting us upon arrival, to providing a map to go over with all her recommendations of things to see and do, to setting up dinner reservations (which we needed for the best restaurants). She coordinated picking us up at the train station and dropping us off at the airport very early. She gets host of the year, 5 stars!! The property is in a perfect location to walk the city easily. The AC was important as temps got into 30C during our stay. The shower pressure was fabulous and such a gorgeous bathroom. Loved the Port wine she left us as a gift too! Highly recommend this property if you wish to stay in Porto. Thank you Isabel!!

Amazing Experience!
I cannot say enough good things about our experience with not only the home but the host. She absolutely made our stay more special than anywhere we've ever stayed. Ahead of our arrival and after our booking she stayed in communication and recommended many places and things to do during our stay. She personally met us at the home upon check-in and brought a map and identified many places worthy of a visit. Anytime I reached out during our stay she responded immediately. She is a wonderful person and has a passion for this area. The room is as advertised and is beautiful. Wonderful location near the river and so much shopping and many restaurants, all in walking distance. Don't hesitate to book this home! It's an experience we will never forget!

Great apartment in a great location
We stayed at Design House Old Town for 4 nights. The apartment is comfortable, modern, extremely well decorated, and has everything for a stress-free stay. The host, Isabel, was present at check-in and responded promptly to all messages throughout our stay. She couldn't have been more helpful. The only negative thing is that the apartment is on a very narrow street with no car parking. This makes it a little difficult to arrive (and leave) by car with anything more than a little luggage. If you are not driving, and/or are travelling light, there are no negatives about Isabel's property.

Our host, Isabel was wonderful. I don't think there is anything she couldn't or wouldn't do for a guest and she helped us with many bookings. The apartment is nicely decorated and ideal for anyone wanting to weekend or so in Porto. For two older travelers on a several week trip in the EU, we could have used a bit more room to be ideal. Also I need more light than when I was younger so I found the lighting to be dimmer than I like. No fault of the apartment, we weren't necessarily the right tenants. Close to river made it easy to enjoy all there is to do with a short walk home

The most incredible property and a host extraordinaire
The apartment was beautiful in a location that made everything walkable , for two of us it was perfect! Isabel is a host extraordinaire , our experience in beautiful Porto would not have been the same without Isabel’s personal touch. She arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport , met us at the apartment with a wealth of information about Porto, valuable tips etc. and booked three tours for us.
