"The place is very quiet and beautifully kept. I had the view of the castle from our room. The room was very comfortable and large. Super clean and convenient location. The breakfast was lovely and variety of food (fruits,breads, cheese, coffee/tea, orange juice, jam/jelly, etc). The staff very friendly and welcoming. I would go back in a heartbeat! "

"We stayed here to access the national park and the nearby limestone caves which are worth seeing. Signage to the reception at the property could be clearer but it is a prominent building in the small village. Breakfast was very good although the absence of tea / coffee amenities in the room meant you had to access them from a common area at cost (expensive). "Was a great get away. The facilities were new and well thought out. Had a hiccup on check-in as they didn’t have connectivity with Expedia. Originally had room 18 (?) and it was tiny and wonky. Upgraded to suite 22 and it was awesome! Huge difference but not much via rate. Definitely pay for upgrade. The AC in the room wasn't working very well but was still comfortable. Highly recommend!"

"Absolutely charming place. The gardens are lovely. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and large. Every part of the house looks like a quaint picture! Amazing place. It is also close to some of “Portugal Farm Experiences and Tours”. "

"A estadia deveu-se à bonita piscina num hotel novo. Infelizmente a água estava bem mais fria do que deveria. O restaurante ainda está numa fase embrionária e a escolha é muito reduzida. Os quartos podiam ter mais espaço. Carregamento elétrico de carro gratuito. Boa situação. "

"Room was very big. Had a kitchen and living room and bedroom. Breakfast was decent. Had scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, ham in addition to the continental fare. Had free parking. Very close to bus station. Walkable distance to car rental area. "

"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"Owner is very kind and responsive. The local manager is kind also and speak English well. There was an issue for a day and half where our master shower was not working due to a missing piece so our family of five needed to use the smaller unit. Not a problem but just inconvenience. I had to be proactive in this communication but after the owner personally called and wanted to make sure the unit issue was addressed. They did get then handy man to come and fix it. "Perfect location near the church. Took the room facing the church. Paid €20 extra per day. Worth the money. Breakfast was good. Lots of Japanese & Indonesia tourist when I was there. Breakfast was a little unruly with them. "
