"We had the most wonderful visit in Alghero and loved staying at Casa dei Luiti. It’s perfectly situated in the old part of the city with easy access to restaurants, harbor and more. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated much to our surprise, very quiet even when the area is busy due to the special insulated windows. Davide couldn’t have been more helpful with suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Highly recommended. "

"The location of this hotel was perfect; it was literally in the middle of Alghero. Just a few minutes walk from all of the restaurants and stores. I was used to having bidets but I understand why they probably didn’t have one; there’s just not enough room. I didn’t have a lot of stuff so the climb up the steps wasn’t a big deal. "Salvatore was very easy to get in touch with when I was checking in. The next morning I got to meet him and his co-worker Francesca. They do a full service breakfast. They will serve what you want which is pretty cool; nothing wasted."

"The hotel is nearby the old town and the beach. Near old town restaurants. Staff was great. Breakfast is on 9th floor with great view of the marina. The wifi was terrible. Don’t know why. "

"The property was lovely, clean and quiet. However, the doors were finicky and old, difficult to unlock, even from the inside, which could be problematic in a fire (even in a stone building!) The access to the street button in the lobby was not working either but we went through the cafe to get out."

"Pokoj, kuchyň, terasa, koupelna WC bidet fén , pokoj skvělé, nový světlý nábytek-skříné, lampičky, noční stolky , křesílko, pohodlná a velká postel. Dojem kazil jen hluk z ulice - projíźdějící velmi hlučné motorky, dveře v koupelně, které drhly o podlahu a šly špatněji otvírat a zavírat, je potřeba zabrousit ,aby neskřípaly upadávající klika u dveří na terasu, která mi zůstala v ruce - je třeba ji přišroubovat. "It just didn’t seem like what was shown online. I had the impression that it was like a hotel. It was not. We were only given one role of toilet paper, so we had to ask the host to bring some. We have to give him props for coming to give us some though. There also wasn’t any shampoo or conditioner, it just seemed disappointing. We didn't pay that much so I guess you get what you pay for."

A week in Paradise!

"Our stay was amazing from the moment we arrived to our departure. The property is impeccably maintained, a quiet respite from a day full of adventure exploring Alghero. Our host had thoughtfully provided pastries and provisions to begin our stay, provided information of this historical area and were a pleasure to interact with! So looking forward to our return trip!"

"Very attractive resort, Mediterranean but modern property extends side to side with buildings in a U, so everyone has a view. Staff was so friendly and helpful from front desk to bartenders. Spacious patio overlooking the sea. Only issue was probably personal- bed was a bit hard. But I made a comfy place in the daybed and slept very well."

Very dissapointing, sleepless exhausted stay

"I am trying to say something positive- I believe he apologized and talked more softly when we were leaving the next morning after talking to his daughter in the USA staying in Houston, Texas.He gave us each a bottle of cold water which helped with the heat although could have offered more bottles.The room was quiet as the place is located somewhat away from Alghero city center. No real central air conditioning, breakfast buffet was one croissant with one coffee cup and one water bottle. No hot water in the shower, shower leaked water all over the floor. The owner didn’t want to give us any information about the nearby bus route to the city center. He pretty much was forcing his taxi service on us. He was fairly rude and obnoxious. He placed a portable air conditioner unit in the room with the vent hose outside the window and window open. The owner wouldn’t allow us to lower the air conditioner below 23 degrees and it was off for 8 hours!! The bed sheets and pillow cases were disposable paper harsh material that was feeling hot. Sitting on the room chair-it felt like a heated sauna. We were sweating sleeping through the night even after a cool shower. I can go on and on although am too exhausted after our stay there."

Charming Rural-House with 3 Bedrooms Alghero | Patio & Terrace, Close to Beach

Beautiful, Large, Fully Remodeled Villa

"The property is located on a hillside outside the city of Alghero, with gorgeous views of the bay, and also located next to an excellent archaeological site and near the national park with amazing hiking. The villa is extremely spacious with large bedrooms, plenty of closet space, and is fully remodeled with new appliances & air conditioning. The rooftop terrace is excellent, and the beds were very comfortable; our family greatly enjoyed our stay. The property is very well maintained. "

"This hotel is in amazing area and perfect beach. Food at the restaurant was one of the best we tried in Sardinia. Next to the hotel are more beaches walking distance and with a small hike. My only complain was the bedroom, we had junior suite with ocean view which was amazing but the bed was bad and is cover with a plastic to protect the mattress which causes a lot of heat, also bathroom a little uncomfortable. Just for the price room could be a little bit better. "

Could have been a fabulous stay

"The house, grounds and pool are very nice. It is very close to beautiful beaches. However, there was a major ant infestation in the house, which hopefully, by now, has been addressed. The property manager was great and gave us ant spray but an exterminator was needed. Also, the owner did not mention in the listing that there is a vineyard/winery being build behind the house and loud noise started as early as 7am lasting until around 5pm. This woke us up daily and made it impossible to enjoy the grounds during the day. Hopefully the construction is completed soon because it really could have been a nice private place to stay. Without the ants and construction, I would have given a much higher rating."

Great property but location not perfect

"The property was really nice, much better than the photos showed and bigger than I had thought. Franco was really helpful. Well equipped except no cooking knives. Very quiet area except the Saturday night when there was noise from a disco at hotel nearby but fine with earplugs and extremely quiet every other night. Downside was location. I had hoped we could wlalk to a nice beach and although you can access a beach it’s not ideal and wasn’t so where we could leave my partners elderly mother for a few hours which we had hoped it would be. She needs a cafe, toilets etc. the beachfronts has a few hotels that hog the best bits of beach. About 20 mins to alghero. It was a good base with a car. We cycled as well and countryside was brilliant and enjoyed capo caccia by bike and by car. Also about 50 mins to Stintino which was nice to visit. Only fault with the property was that all the doors were hard to open and shut and noisy and o ly my partner could force the key to open the front door. But would recommend it if you want a quiet base."
