Great Portland stay
Stayed here for a guys weekend in June. Home was spacious, clean, and a ton of fun. Close enough to downtown that taxis are cheap, but within reasonable walking distance that we walked back multiple times. Hot tub was clean and worked great. Highly recommend

Overall great experience
Listing was accurate and house was clean. Only down side is only street parking, in our case we had several vehicles. All was good though, there was room out front on the street and we were able to find spots. Great experience during our time there. Lots of things to do in close proximity and the grocery store was walking distance away from the house.

Bachelorette weekend
This property was perfect for our group of 10 girls!!! It was much bigger than I was even anticipating, beautiful home and very clean. *Very* safe and nice neighborhood, which was incredibly important for us girls. The hot tub was the best part and the fireplace was great too. No complaints with our stay at all, though I wish it was a walking distance to downtown. It was about a 10 minute car ride so we ubered for our stay which worked out pretty good and was still cheap! The host lives upstairs & was super thoughtful one night when he prepared the fire pit for us when we returned home from downtown, which honestly was such a nice touch it made me want to write a review! Overall great, clean, safe stay :)

Highly recommend!!
A few friends and myself stayed for New Years weekend and I have nothing but great things to say about this property. Nate was a great host who greeted us upon arrival. He gave us a tour of the home and gave great recommendations on places to go in the area. The location of this property is minutes away from everything restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. was all within very close distance. Nate was very responsive to any questions we had. The hot tub was also a bonus and was very clean and well maintained. Our group greatly enjoyed this weekend away and would highly recommend staying at Nates home! Clean home, great location and perfect place to stay for a larger group or family!

Dirty sheets, not cleaned!
My friends and I stayed here only 1 out of 3 nights we booked here. We found blood stained sheets, leftover food in sheets, dirty dishes, the hot tub was not cleaned and the filter was full, rusty stained shower with mold all over the shower curtain. Absolutely poor communication with owner when explaining the situation and got no refund. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Owner lives upstairs which is not in description, AVOID THIS LISTING. For this premium price go stay in Boston in a clean hotel, terrible host and dirty house. Underwhelming stay and location.

Decent but with flaws/recommendations to improve.
The house was nice and in a good location. It had a large kitchen and dining room for our group. It was mostly clean aside from cobwebs along the ceiling. The handle for the shower was broken and popped off if moved the wrong way. There was air conditioning in some of the bedrooms but not all. They did leave a fan which helped a little to make it comfortable but it was still hot on a summer night. The house was supposed to have a pull out couch to sleep two people, however, on the day of arrival I was told it was broken and a mattress was left at the house instead. The mattress was only a twin though so it did not accommodate the group as we had planned. We were only given arrival instructions the day of because I contacted the host and we were not given any departure instructions. It would have been helpful to know about the bed situation sooner and to be sure we were leaving the house properly.

We were appalled to discover the property owner outside at 1:30 AM with 5 other people, NAKED and in the hot tub. They were smoking and drinking (prohibited by their own rules). As a group of girls we felt very unsafe and our worries were dismissed by the owner. Considering he lived upstairs, we barricaded the doors for our safety. Do not recommend.

The perfect location for Portland
Booked for a lowkey bachelor weekend with four friends in Portland. We couldn’t have lucked out with a better place to stay! The house was perfect, within walking distance to some great bars and restaurants, and only a short Uber ride from downtown. Nate was a great host and gave some perfect recommendations for restaurants and bars downtown. The hot tub/back porch area was the icing on the cake for the weekend too. Highly recommend this vrbo!

Comfortable and Convenient
Traveled with a group of friends for a weekend and had a great time. The property was as pictured and beds were comfortable. There is a nice walking path by the water not far away. The house is on a side street just off a main road but we didn't really hear the traffic noise. There's a couple of cute coffee shops within walking distance. Street parking was easy. We didn't cook at all so can't really speak to whether the kitchen is fully stocked. Overall, the house was comfortable and worked well for our purposes and the host was easy to communicate with.

Wonderful Time
We did a friends weekend at this property and had a great time. The space was clean and welcoming, and the host had set up fans for the rooms without AC to help with the heat/airflow and was clearly thinking about our enjoyment. We ended up chatting with the host when he came by to help get the hot tub ready, and he was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations. The house is near a main road without too much on it, but it's quiet and the street is near a couple nice walking trails.

This is a nice place! It wasn’t totally clean when we arrived, but we took care of that quickly. The hot tub was great but took a little online searching to figure out how to heat it up. Overall, we enjoyed the space and had a lovely time.

Stayed here for a bachelorette weekend, and it was overall OK, but nothing particularly special. It could be made a lot nicer with some more attention to decor, matching dishes, etc. It overall has a feeling of being in a male college student's apartment (albeit a clean one!) It checked the boxes for us and was decently comfortable, but was not somewhere we wanted to spend any extra time in. It's weird that there is one bathroom for 4 bedrooms. The location is great however, very close to groceries and an easy uber away from downtown. You should also note you have to share the hot tub with the upstairs apartment! That was a bummer for us to discover...
