The hotel is run down. Feels old, windows are grimey, curtains/carpet are dirty, telephone/fridge didn’t work and housekeeping didn’t replace towels. Weight room almost no weight and indoor pool looks murky.

At $200 per night on the cheaper end, this inn has a lot of work to do. In at least half of the hotel there is an awful musty odor throughout the halls. It was present for my entire visit. The beds are terribly cheap and not comfortable. Overall it could use some remodeling. Nothing wrong with the 80s aesthetic but the furniture and carpet probably shouldn’t actually be that old. The staff was friendly and the room smelled clean.

The appearance of the property was great, lobby is bewutiful and has many pamphlets available for local attractions, the pools both seemed well maintained and had handicap access to both. Guests seemed happy and we also loved the options the wellness area had to offer, as well as the times it was available. We werent able to use them as often as i would have liked to, but the hours definitely made it possible for anyone to do so if they really wanted to. Room was clean in general, although we did run into a couple issues, it was resolved fairly i feel and quickly by hotel staff. Tv was a good size and had a good variety of channels. I would have liked to see more of a warm breakfast offered, but what they had was exactly as described and enough to keep my kiddos happy, plus the breakfast sandwiches they did offer were pretty good as well!

Overall our stay was good. The staff was friendly. The hotel layout was confusing, but we figured it out. Also, for a nonsmoking hotel we smelled a lot of weed throughout the hallways. There was plenty of parking and we did feel safe.

Always a nice, clean hotel. Quiet is impossible for rooms close to the Maine Turnpike. My ONLY complaint would be the minimal breakfast offerings in the lobby.
